Clairpan, the optimal density
A density that gives the panel better mechanical resistance and allows the use of fewer liquid finishes, for a more homogeneous, smooth and uniform result on both faces and edges.

Range description
Premium softwood, stable and design.
The Clairpan® Standard panel is light beige in color with honey-gold highlights, and is made by dry processing the fibers with the addition of synthetic resins and gluing under high temperature press.
A non-load-bearing panel, with a high density surface and core.
Made of a long and homogeneous wood fiber, it has
Clairpan® Standard panel faces are particularly dense and offer a high quality surface for varnishing.
Fields of application
Class 1 panel – Non-structural use in dry environments
Applications
Panel sanded on both faces to a 180-grit smoothness, allowing the use of a complete range of finishes: lacquer, varnish, paint, melamine decorations, wood or metal veneer
Reminder: Clairpan® Standard panels can only be used in dry environments (service class 1) and in biological risk class 1 according to EN622-5 table 5.
Store away from water.
For storage and during installation and use, Clairpan® Standard must be properly protected from direct contact with water. It needs to be stacked flat and adequately joisted with appropriate spacing according to the thickness to avoid creeping.
An essential step for a great finish.
Clairpan® Standard has excellent compatibility with all existing finishing and bonding products on the market.
Clairpan® Standard comes sanded to a 180-grit smoothness; slight dusting may be required before applying a light filler. The edges will receive a penetrating pore filler insulation to block fibers and absorption.
Water-based coatings are not recommended. Solvent-based coatings applied with a spray gun are preferred.
Clairpan® Standard eliminates the need for any filling/coating preparation: you apply a base coat (primer or undercoat) and then, after lightly sanding, paint both faces (glycerophthalic or acrylic paint).
Do not use stain on Clairpan® Standard.
Screwing Clairpan® Standard (with wood or particle board type screws) offers the best pull-out resistance. However, it is possible to nail or staple the panels faces in addition to gluing.
Any wood glue is suitable for Clairpan® Standard!
Clairpan® Standard is compatible with quick-setting vinyl adhesives, polychloroprenes, hot melt, urea-formaldehyde, polyurethane adhesives, etc. If Clairpan® Standard is to be bonded to another material, the adhesive must be selected according to the surface characteristics of both components.
When the panels are installed over large surfaces (wall cladding, floors, ceilings), provide sufficient expansion joints between the panels (2 to 3 mm).
