Next, the first truly natural panel

What if being (truly) responsible meant not wasting anything?
 By using a patented biosourced plant resin technology and a 100% natural wood fiber, Next leaves nature untouched and offers a panel that respects both the environment and your health without compromising the performance of MDF.

Range description

The panel that leaves nature untouched.

To stop wasting our resources is the real start of an environmentally responsible approach. That’s why we created NEXT® STD using only tree trimmings (unused residues) and rapeseed and sunflower oil. Thanks to using GreenbyEvertree, a 100% vegetable resin, without added formaldehyde.

HEALTH: indoor air is healthier. A NEXT® STD panel is as neutral as an untreated wood plank.

ENVIRONMENT: optimal carbon result. -20% less CO2 in manufacturing a NEXT® STD panel, with a selection of local species replanted through the Fonds Forestier du Limousin.

PERFORMANCE: Medium® quality, the market benchmark.

Made of a short and homogeneous softwood fiber, it guarantees :

  • high core machinability ;
  • maximized assembly qualities;
  • a smooth and dense surface, a fine texture, low porosity.

Fields of application
Class 1 panel – Non-structural use in dry environments

Reminder: NEXT® STD can only be used in dry environments (service class 1) and in biological risk class 1 according to EN622-5 table 5.

Store away from water.

For storage and during installation and use, NEXT® STD must be properly protected from direct contact with water. It needs to be stacked flat and adequately joisted with appropriate spacing according to the thickness to avoid creeping.

An essential step for a great finish.

NEXT® STD has excellent compatibility with all existing finishing and bonding products on the market.

NEXT® comes sanded to a 180-grit smoothness; slight dusting may be required before applying a light filler. The edges will receive a penetrating pore filler insulation to block fibers and absorption.

NEXT® STD eliminates the need for any filling/coating preparation: you apply a base coat (primer or undercoat) and then, after lightly sanding, paint both faces (glycerophthalic or acrylic paint).
Do not use stain on NEXT® STD.

Screwing NEXT® STD (with wood or particle board type screws) offers the best pull-out resistance. However, it is possible to nail or staple the panels faces in addition to gluing.

When the panels are installed over large surfaces (wall cladding, floors, ceilings), provide sufficient expansion joints between the panels (2 to 3 mm).
